Who?  Preschoolers (3 years-old + potty-trained) through soon-to-be 6th graders 

When?   Monday – Friday, July 24-28, 2017 – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon 

Where?  Grace United Methodist Church, 420 California Dr. Coal Center, PA 

What?  Experience Jesus through bible lessons, crafts, snacks, games, science experiments, and music! Children meet in the sanctuary for gathering & closing assemblies, then spend the rest of the day rotating to centers in groups led by adult & youth volunteers.   

Why?  Because you’ll have so much FUN learning about and experiencing God’s power with your new friends! 


How?  Register in-person on Monday morning beginning at 8:15 am.  Print form in advance or get one at church.  FREE!



This year's VBS T-shirts:

These t-shirts (totally optional) are a fun way to show your faith.  We have already placed an initial order, but do have some extras and will place a second order Monday after VBS if needed.  If you ordered a t-shirt or would like one, please go to the t-shirt table on Monday. 




 Special Events

Thursday, July 27 – Pine Cove Day! 
Join us after VBS at local Pine Cove Beach Club, just down the road on Rt.481. 
The amazing pool is normally only open to members, but on this day will open for Grace United Methodist Church VBS attendees, family, and friends!  Just say you’re from Grace Church at the gate.  Guest fees apply - $10/ages 12+, $8/ages 4-11, $6/3&under.  Bring or buy your lunch.  Hope to see you there!


Friday, July 28 – Fun Fair Day!
Kids – you don’t want to miss our super fun last day of VBS!  You will attend our fun fair with carnival-style games and prizes during your Rec station as part of your VBS day.  All children will be dismissed at 12:30 pm this day to allow extra time to practice for Sunday’s closing program. 


Sunday, July 30 – 9:45 AM – CaveQuest Closing Program in the Sanctuary. 
All invited as our VBS kids lead worship in song and movement.  Praise the Lord!



MISSION PROJECTS – We will take an offering each day to go towards purchasing chairs for a new school run by missionaries in Haiti.  We will also collect the following items for Children’s Hospital:  travel-size toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, chapstick, & lotion), NEW kids’ books and card games (all ages).
